The Makita CE001GZ is a Twin 40v/80v XGT Brushless 355mm/14In Power Disc Cutter powered by two 40Vmax XGT Li-Ion batteries in series (sold separate). Ideal for trade professionals within the construction and demolition industry. Can be used universally in projects by landscape gardeners, road workers and road construction. In terms of cutting speed, this battery power cutter is comparable to most petrol engines. The Active Feedback-sensing Technology (AFT®) on the 40V max X2 (80Vmax) XGT® Brushless 355 mm Power Cutter switches the motor off if the wheel spinning stops abrubtly. Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) is designed to improve a tool’s function in tough environments by channelling water and dust away from vital internal components, an electric brake stops the wheel in 4 seconds or fewer, allowing for faster repositioning.
